Our Services are Rooted in Mindfulness

When mindfulness is integrated in a consistent movement practice it can build brain development, improve mental health, and increase overall well-being.

Aerial support staff at Mindful Child consists of therapists, nurses, honor and doctoral students for aerial yoga founded in medical expertise. All of our therapists are trained in primitive reflexes, mindfulness and other evidence-based treatment modalities to treat the whole child.
Yoga is Really Good for Your Child
Yoga has been shown to improve one’s physical and emotional well-being. Aerial yoga helps improve executive functions, memory, planning and the ability to concentrate. A consistent aerial yoga practice is linked with improved impulse control, sustained attention, and reduced stress/anxiety. However, most classes are not taught by a professional with a background in psychology, who understands the scientific research and implements it in a manner that is engaging to kids. Dr. Tracy’s unique background in aerial yoga and psychology make her studio the best aerial yoga studio in Kansas City.
