Our evidence-based mindfulness approach teaches children how to control their bodies, breathe, focus and relax.
It is the science of happiness.
At Mindful Child we offer a whole-child approach to wellness. Our unique therapeutic technique utilizes many alternative and complementary therapies that are backed by neurological research. At Mindful Child, we work to find the root of the problem, not treat symptoms. Our integrative, health-based approach, combines neuro-sensory-motor techniques with growth mindset, positive psychology, nutrition, cognitive behavioral therapy, aromatherapy and relaxation training. All therapy sessions are play-based and the aerial yoga hammock is used as a therapeutic prop to enhance mindfulness, executive function, and relaxation.
Benefits of Therapy

Therapy Sessions
Childhood is full of fun and play, sure – but kids also experience stress, anxiety, challenging situations, and overstimulation. Yet knowing how to deal with these obstacles is not an innate skill that most kids have. In our mindfulness-based therapy sessions, we teach your child how to be mindful to promote emotional balance and resilience. Mindfulness shows children how to overcome challenges through guided instruction in fun, sensory and evidence-based activities. Mindful Child’s mindfulness approach is combined with a variety of other health-based practices based on your child’s individual needs. Our therapy sessions teach your child to reduce stress, improve concentration, and handle difficult emotions.
