Helpful Tips
- How do I know if my child might need a therapy class?
-
If your child struggles with social interactions, emotional regulation, or shows signs of developmental delays, therapy classes could be a beneficial option. Every child is unique, so we recommend starting with a trial class before proceeding with a full assessment to determine if it’s the right fit for their needs.
- If my child has special needs, can they enroll in large group aerial yoga classes, too?
-
There are certain behavioral objectives that a child has to meet for an aerial yoga class so that every student and staff member can have a safe and beneficial experience. Depending on your child’s special needs, they may have to stay in small group therapy classes until their behavior meets the required expectations for a our large group classes.
- What is the initial assessment process like?
-
The initial assessment evaluates multiple key areas and begins once payment is processed. This comprehensive evaluation includes standardized tests, observations, reflex analysis, sensory and motor assessments, as well as parent-reported measures. Afterward, we schedule a detailed review meeting to discuss our findings thoroughly. For more information about our small group therapy classes for children, feel free to contact us!
