Online Mindfulness and Aerial Yoga Classes
What could be better than a live Mindful Child Aerial Yoga Class? Well, nothing really, but for those of you who can’t get to our studio, Online Mindful Child (OMC) is the best alternative. You can do it anywhere, anytime. Well, almost anywhere. If you are doing the aerial yoga piece you probably need to be in your hammock. Don’t have a Mindful Child Hammock? No worries, you don’t have to own a hammock. Our lessons include games, breathing exercises, deep relaxation, and mindfulness. The aerial yoga is only a small part of what we do.
How Does OMC Work?
Follow the online mindfulness lessons at your own pace, however it’s important to try to work through each of the five components. Why five components? Science tells us we need to practice mindfulness for a minimum of 10 minutes daily. Additionally, ALL aspects of our mindfulness – listening, seeing, smelling, breathing, and movement – have a direct relationship to neurological development, as well as strengthening our ability to concentrate. This means we need to practice mindfulness daily and use as many of our senses as possible to strengthen our brain muscle.

Each weekly online mindfulness lesson is coupled with detailed written instructions and videos. We’ve even included print outs that identify the benefits of the activities. Your kids will love all of the moving and grooving, mindfulness, swinging, and FUN of our unique classes. The best part is every component is based on neurological research – our lessons actually grow your child’s brain.

A yoga posture should be easily held. If it’s too hard or if it hurts, your child should stop! It is important in aerial yoga that you listen to your body, and respect its limits on any given day. We recommend supervising your child during online classes especially during the aerial yoga instruction.
By registering for our online classes, the parent or guardian understands that Aerial Yoga and Mindfulness are not a substitute for medical treatment. In the case where your child has an injury, sickness or anything else that may be affected by physical activity, make sure you have consulted with a physician to ensure your child can participate in aerial yoga, mindfulness, and yoga exercises with the yoga hammock.
